Amy is a qualified professional providing specialised Myotherapy treatments for the whole community. She has been treating people from all walks of life for over 12 years. She started in the industry in 2007 after completing her Cert IV in Massage Therapy through the Unity School of Healing on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. She then went on to complete her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2008 with the same school. In 2019 she returned to study and completed her Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy in Geelong, Victoria. After 7 years in beautiful Ocean Grove Amy and her family decided to relocate to Apollo Bay to live the dream of living on 18 amazing acres in the Otways!
Amy is trained in all facets of myotherapy and massage… from manual dry needling, trigger point therapy, cupping, remedial massage to pre and post-pregnancy massage.
After working at a number of multi-modality clinics alongside osteopaths, chiropractors and TCM practitioners, Amy decided to open her own studio from home allowing her to spend the time she felt needed with each individual client whilst also allowing her to be present for her family too. Amy has been working independently since 2010 running her own one woman show…along with helping run their timber machining business and raising three young children.
Amy has passion for helping people achieve balance through myotherapy and to assist them in alleviating pain through different techniques she can offer.

The term ‘myo’ translates to ‘muscle’, so Myotherapy simply means muscle therapy. Similar to Remedial Massage, there is a heavy focus on soft tissue and correcting any pains and ailments you may be facing.
